About the fabric
Our brocade pieces are made from softly woven brocade with a smooth feel, gentle drape, and subtle sheen. Metallic styles carry a richer texture and a little more shine, made with evenings and occasions in mind.
Slight variations in colour, weave, and finish are natural to woven brocade and part of the character of each piece. They are not defects.
Care
- Hand wash cold, or use a gentle machine cycle
- Wash inside out, with similar colours
- Mild detergent, no bleach
- Hang or lay flat to dry
- Warm iron on the reverse, on a low setting
For metallic brocade, keep the iron low and on the reverse, away from direct heat on the metallic weave. Spot clean or dry clean where you can. Gentle washing and low heat keep brocade’s sheen at its best.
